Village Life In Pakistan.

Pakistan is a country located in south of Asia. It has about 200 millions population. 65% of its population lives in villages. Villages of Pakistan contribute a lot to the economy of  Pakistan. Wheat, cotton, rice and different fruits are sent from villages to cities and then exported to foreign countries. So we can say economy of Pakistan is much dependent on its villages.

Overall Pakistani's are famous for their generousty and hospitality but its villagers have an edge in this aspect. They always welcome their guests warmly and with smiling faces. They are much simple and fresh minded people. They have no complexity in their lives.

Old houses are made of clay and mud but in modern houses bricks and cement are used. These houses have small walls and boudaries. The houses are located at much distances. Most of the villagers have large families and often live in joint family system. Villagers interact with eachother on daily basis. They attend marriages and death anniversities of other villagers. Most of the people are farmers. Other sources of income are stock rearing, fishing and small businesses. Some people go to Middle East countries like Saudia Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait to earn their livelihoods. Some also have jobs in cities.

In old days lands were ploughed throgh carts but now this job is done throgh tractors. Now they have tube wells instead of small nulls. In most villages modern agriculture system has been introduced. Both men and women work in the fields. Villagers are very hard working. The villagers grow different vegetables and fruits not only for themselves but also send these eatables to cities and earn money from it. They utilize the wastes of animals by burning it. Even some modern villages have bio_gas plants where gas is produced through the wastes of animals. This gas is an alternate for the electricity. The villagers have ''Pucha'it'' system which acts as a court for them. All the decisions are taken there. When all the people are free from their works, they gather in''Pucha'it'' and discuss different issues. In some villages Fairs are organized every year where the whole village is gathered. Villagers sleep early at night and then also wake up early in the morning.

Boys are given education till that level where they want but girls education is not too much encouraged. Villagers have pure vegetables to eat, pure milk to drink, but the water for drinking is not of good standard. Government is trying its best to make sure that every village has carpet roads, a hospital, good drainage system and high schools for children education. Almost all the villages have electricity.

  •    Their hearts are full of love for others.
  •    Their is no difference between rich and poor.
  •    They sleep comfortly at night,
  •    Average age of villagers is higher than those living in cities.

                        Negative Aspects

  •    Villagers lack education and health facilties.
  •    Most of the people don't have basic necessaties of life.
  •    Some of the villagers are idle and sit whole day without doing any work.
  •    The roads and sanitary condition is not good.
  •    Some far away villages have still open bath system.
  •    Marriage of children under 18 years of age is common.
  •    Waste of animals is present everywhere.
  •    Sometimes simplicity of villagers causes problems for them.
  •    Child labour is common in villages
  •    Animals Fight is common in villages.

                   Conclusion

Every thing has some advantages as well as some disadvantages, so has a village. But overall village is the biggest blessing of Allah where one can observe the nature in its pure form. The person who is brought up in villages has sincerity in nature. Every body from city must visit a village.

  1. WOW !! Your writing is as inborn as the beauty of village life. Although I am a boy from city, but I always sense a charming CALL from village. The village scenario of my country is also common like urs. Our economy is also based on villages & 80% of our people dwell in village. But day-by-day our villages are getting the rapid touch of technology, which is softly back-washing the natural beauty of villages. I witnessed village fairs which is absolutely a lovesome experience. The most positive aspect for my country & ur country is, a large percent of population is the part of villages. So if these villages are developed , it will result in the development of whole country. The photo(s) uploaded by u are also joyful. I wish I could visit ur country & watch my country from the side of ur border. In Sha Allah , some day I would. :)
